Students are invited to create a short dialogue-free MANGA that encompasses any of the following three emotions Crying, Smiling or Love. Submissions will be judged on the basis of artistic techniques, ability to build drama with an effective climatic twist and paneling/directorial techniques. The grand prize winner will receive 500,000 Yen in price money and a total of 4,40,000 Yen will be distributed among the winners.


RULES

NO DIALOGUE: tell your story through images alone.

Manuscript: Reading order from the right to left, monochrome only.

Number of pages: 5 – 17

Page file size: Not to exceed 2mb

Genre: Any genre.

NO plagiarism; nudity; explicit violence, or material that is likely to cause offence.
